Albania will play against Italy on Saturday at 21:00, in Dortmund, in the first valid match for the "Germany 2024" European Championship.
The head of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, in a communication with the show "The Unexposed", expressed that he believes in victory in the match with Italy. According to him, with the mentality of the national team, the match will be won.
" The atmosphere is good and the best thing is that all the footballers are ready to be active in the match. They are available to Silvinho, obviously as the day of the match approaches, the responsibility is greater and it is felt in the team. I wish that this responsibility does not exceed the levels and damage the sports level of the players.
We know the strength of Italy and it is a quality team, the reigning European champion, and we also know our team. In a football match and not only, but in any kind of competition, one enters to win.
So we will also enter this match to win. After all, we have nothing to lose. We have won our European Championship by being a part of it, because Albania's participation is not as routine as the participation of big teams. So us going in with that mentality we can do well and we can win the game. I'm definitely confident that we can win the game ," Duka said.
