"In the national team, they ask me how the fields are in the USA", Uzuni dreams of the World Cup: I want the World Cup with Albania so that my country can rejoice

The USA will open its doors next June for the 2026 World Cup. Albania is still in the running for a ticket across the Atlantic, as it is fighting alongside Serbia for second place in the group. In an interview with FIFA, Myrto Uzuni has openly expressed his great desire to go to the World Cup with the red and black national team.

" For me, the most important thing is to go to the World Cup with Albania. If I find Ronaldo in the group, then it would be wonderful. It would be another dream. But, as I said, for me it is more important that my country is happy. The last time I was in Albania with the national team, they were asking me about the training grounds, the facilities and everything. I explained that everything is perfect and that the people here love football ," said Myrto Uzuni.
