Barcelona president Joan Laporta spoke to "Mundo Deportivo", focusing, among other things, on the differences between the management of his club and that of rivals Real Madrid.
“ We have a profoundly different approach and spirit. They embody a sense of power, while we promote a strong identity. Each defends what they believe in. Our rivalry is born from mutual respect and institutional pride. Our basis is the development of youth, we cultivate talents that come from within. They, on the other hand, operate more through the market, rarely producing their own players. This makes us proud of who we are. We are more than just a club .”
We recall that this season Barcelona defeated Real in 4 matches, in the Super Cup final, in the Copa del Rey final and in two La Liga championship matches.
