Filip Kostic captained Serbia for the first time, as England won 2-0.
The Serbian footballer did not hold back at all after the match, as he took a dig at former coach Dragan Stojkovic.
"It is a great honor and pleasure to wear the captain's armband. It is a dream and it is something that gives me even more motivation to fight for the national team. As for the match, we played against one of the best national teams in the world. But we showed that we can do much better.
As for my role, I am available to the coach to play whatever he needs.
"If we had a coach and had done all the work of the last few days with a young one, we would certainly have had a much better result, we would have been second and we would not have lost to Albania. It was the hardest loss in my career and because of that we are all suffering now," said Filip Kostic.
