Albanian boxer Nelson Hysa has scored another victory in his heavyweight career, triumphing on Friday against Croatian Abel Pesu in a spectacular fight that kept the audience excited until the end.
In a match full of intensity from the first to the fourth round, Hysa managed to secure two important international titles. His rival threw in the white 'towel' in the ring by surrendering, while Hysa has the same number of victories in 24 fights in his career.
This morning he was invited to the studio of the show "Wake Up", where he spoke more about the emotions of the match and more.
Asked if he had 'ever retired from a match?', Nelson replied:
"Never, I finished with a broken hand. I won the match with a broken hand."
As for the question "do you want to teach boxing to your son?", Hysa said:
"I really want to teach my son. I want to teach every little girl and boy, especially girls because it builds self-confidence."
"After a tough match, how do you recover?" was the next question the famous boxer answered:
"We get medical check-ups where we have problems. This time I had a problem with my hand and jaw. We do routine check-ups and, depending on the injury, we take an active break. We go to the swimming pool, play tennis. After the matches, we take what we have lost as food, electrolytes, proteins, fruits. High-level matches require great care, great recovery."
Nelson revealed that after every game he calls his mother:
"From the beginning, I always take my mother, because she worries. And I always have my daughter-in-law with me."
