FIFA has again evaluated Albanian referees, as Florian Lata has been awarded the FIFA emblem as the main referee and will now have the opportunity to referee important matches in Europe. For years, Albania was on the FIFA list with three male referees, Enea Jorgji, Juxhin Xhaja and Eldorjan Hamiti, while Lata is now added to the list. The FIFA emblem is also held by two female referees, Emanuela Rusta and Eglantina Pjetrushaj.
FIFA has decided to equip three assistants with its emblem, Arbër Zalla, Xuljo Mani and Erind Burgu. Until now, Denis Rexha, Ridiger Çokaj, Rejdi Avdo, Dojando Myftari and Ilir Tartaraj were equipped with the FIFA emblem as assistants for the boys.
While as female assistants, the FIFA emblem is held by Koleta Prenga, Erinda Kume, Mirjeta Salla and Edjena Kapxhiu.
The Albanian referees are equipped with the FIFA emblem as Video Match Official (VAR) Enea Jorgji, Juxhin Xhaja and Kreshnik Barjamaj, while the futsal referee with the FIFA emblem is only Arlind Subashi.
This is a great assessment for Albanian football and in particular for the refereeing sector. The criterion that affects the increase in the number of referees who are equipped with the FIFA emblem is their good performance in the European arena.
