Suffered a cardiac arrest on the steps of the stadium during the Granada-Bilbao match, the fan died

Tragedy has taken over Spanish football this Sunday. A fan died in the stadium, during the Granada-Atletico Bilbao match, due to cardiac arrest. It was Basque goalkeeper Unai Simon who rushed to alert the referee in the 15th minute, after being alerted by the fans first.

The match continued for 5 minutes, before it was finally stopped, as the doctors were trying to save the fan. The players then stayed on the field for about 40 minutes, while they then went to the dressing rooms.

After this moment, the match was also suspended, as we remember that Atlético was winning 1-0 against Granada, where Uzuni was activated, with the goal of Injaki Williams in the sixth minute.
