Etrit Berisha has been out of the playing field with the Torino club for almost a year, after the clashes he had with coach Ivan Juric. This has pushed the goalkeeper to constantly look for a team, but at the moment offers have been lacking.
However, it seems that recently a very interesting opportunity has been created for the goalkeeper of the Albanian National Team, which can help him to be activated regularly. The club of Sampdoria, which has fallen this season in Serie B, wants to climb as soon as possible and therefore, wants a quality goalkeeper. Apparently, the club that appointed Andrea Pirlo as coach, has precisely targeted Berisha as a reinforcement for the summer market, as it believes that his skills will help him take the step to return to the elite.
However, the deal has a significant catch. The footballer's salary is currently unaffordable by Sampdoria. Berisha receives 1 million euros per season and this does not match the salary ceiling set by the club, which also fell as a result of bankruptcy and the financial crisis that passed.
Italian media reports that Sampdoria are ready to transfer the player, but only if Torino are ready to pay part of his salary. The Italian club is considering it as a possibility, since they want to get rid of the salary of the footballer, who would not be active with them, but would spend the season as a paid spectator in the stands.
