Lando Norris with McLaren secured the "pole position" this afternoon at the Marina Bay city track, valid for the Singapore Grand Prix in Formula 1. The British pilot set a time of 1'29"525, being the fastest on the track.
Dutch pilot Max Verstappen returns as protagonist, in second place with Red Bull Racing and will start the race from the front line after a long time. In third place was classified another British, Luis Hamilton with Mercedes.
This is "pole" no. 8 in his career for Norris, which confirms his claims to dethrone Verstappen, who today fought hard for the first place. In fourth place is George Russell with Mercedes, who left behind Oskar Piastri with McLaren.
