The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, at the Great Evening of Sports Stars 2023, said that all athletes who make achievements in Albania will receive the deserved reward. In his speech, Rama said that such rewards in our country are among the highest in Europe. Also, the number one of the government emphasized that there will be full cooperation with the Albanian Football Federation, on the eve of the European Championship.
“All athletes who achieve results, from the modest to the great, are rewarded and included in a system. All champions have an honorable place in Albania.
The rewards for results and achievements are among the highest in Europe. This is the only way we have made it possible for athletes from other countries to come and compete with the Albanian flag. This has been done in big countries.
We have also given support to the AFL in order to facilitate the European Championship. I believe that the best is all ahead and I believe that we are in a process. On behalf of all of you, I thank the President of the European Olympic Committee, who honors us today with his presence" - He said.
