The reason for this was racist behavior during the match against Monaco in the Principality, UEFA's governing body said on Friday.
" The Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) has decided to order the implementation of the measure of disciplinary suspension imposed by UEFA's Appellate Body in its decision on the racist behavior of fans, namely the ban on the sale of tickets to fans of away from its own stadium by FC Barcelona for the next match of the UEFA competition in accordance with Article 26(3) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations" , said a UEFA statement.
Barcelona were fined €10,000 and also given an additional one-match ban for their away fans. Monaco beat Barcelona 2-1 at the Stade Louis II last week. Barca's next away game is in Belgrade against Crvena zvezda on November 6.
