Italian media reported yesterday that the Udine prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into a Udinese footballer after a woman filed a complaint against him. Today, the identity of the player in question was revealed, who is expected to be on the field for Sunday's Serie A match against Juventus.
"Il Messaggero Veneto" has announced that Udinese's French defender, Oumar Solet, is the name that has ended up on the police investigation list and has been questioned about the denunciation.
But the same news source close to the footballer also tells his version of events, insisting that it was a consensual relationship and not a rape.
" There were many people in the player's house. The woman who reported him went out with him even earlier. They kissed and then went into a room with another couple, without any use of force ," the source in question explained how the events at the player's house took place.
The club has remained completely silent for the moment, while it is expected that the footballer will be normally on the list of players assembled for the match against Juventus.
