Viktor Osimhen has returned to one of the most wanted "stars" of European football, but the Prosecutor's Office of Rome has opened an investigation against the President of Naples, Aurelio De Laurentiis, precisely for the transfer of the Nigerian "bomber".
Everything is related to the purchase of Osimhen from Lille, with the President of the current champions of Italy being accused of having shown fictitious surpluses in his transfer operation, thus manipulating the balance sheet.
The Nigerian striker moved to Napoli from Lila in the summer of 2020.
The investigation into the transfer of Osimhen is also being carried out by the sports prosecutor's office, however, since it is about the balance of a commercial company like the Naples club, the capital's prosecutor's office has also entered the game.
Already in June 2022, with the mandate of the prosecutors of Naples, the Guardia di Finanza had seized the documents related to the purchase of the Nigerian and the checks that were made between Castel Volturno, Rome and France.
