Premier League coach hospitalized, missing crucial Champions League match

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe will miss his side's crucial Champions League clash with Manchester United, the club have announced.

The coach was also absent from the usual press conference this Friday and today the reason was learned. " Coach Eddie Howe will be absent from Sunday's match against Manchester United due to a health situation.  The coach was admitted to hospital on Friday evening, after feeling unwell for days. The medical staff kept Eddie in hospital overnight for further checks, which are still ongoing. He is conscious and speaks to his family, while continuing to receive medical assistance from specialists ," the club's statement read, without specifying the coach's health problem.
