The Netherlands defeated Poland at the "Volksparkstadion" in Hamburg with the result 1-2, taking the first 3 points in group D of the European Championship.
From the first minutes, the Dutch went on the offensive, with several good chances to score, but without managing to get the ball into the net.
But, in the 16th minute of the meeting, it was the center forward of Poland, Adam Buksa, who, after a corner kick, sent the ball into the net with his head, giving the Poles the advantage and thus surprising the "Turlipans".
The latter continued to dominate again, but the equalizing goal came only in the 29th minute. It was the Liverpool striker, Kodi Gakpo, who shot from outside the area and with a little luck, the ball touched the Polish defender and deflected into the net, with Sheznin had nothing to do.
When it was thought that the game would end in peace, the Netherlands found the goal that gave them the 3 points. Verghost gave his team the victory with a precise and elusive shot for goalkeeper Shezni.
The next match, Poland will play Austria at 18:00, while the Netherlands will discuss the premature final with France at 21:00.
