The Russian club of Rubin Kazan, after Mirlind Daku, has brought another Albanian striker to its ranks. It is about the 22-year-old Dardan Shabanhaxhaj, who in this winter market has moved from the Slovenians of Mura to the Russian club.
The Mura club announced that Shabanhaxhaj will join Rubin Kazan for a record fee. It has been announced in various Slovenian media that Rubin Kazan has agreed to pay 1.2 million euros to Mura to acquire the services of Shabanhaxhaj. The 22-year-old attacker has signed a contract for four and a half years, while he will wear the number 99 shirt.
Shabanhaxhaj scored seven goals and contributed three assists in 19 matches in the elite Slovenian football. Shbanahaxhaj is considered a potential candidate to wear the jersey of the Albanian National Team. The transfer of the 22-year-old from the Slovenian club to Russia was made with the mediation of manager Shkumbin Qormemeti, who in the past has carried out several "BIG" transfers of Albanian footballers to various European clubs.
