Wrestler Chermen Valiev, who represents Albania, managed to reach the final of the 74 kg freestyle weight class at the World Wrestling Championships being held in Croatia.
In the semi-final match, Valiev defeated Sidakov 6-4, in a match that, as expected, was very hard-fought. In the quarter-finals, nothing was easy against American David Aron, but success was still achieved 7-5.
During the day, the 27-year-old eliminated Belgian Ibragim Veliev and Mongolian wrestler Erdenebat. Now, eyes are on tomorrow, with the Albanian wrestler aiming for the gold medal. But even if he loses, a silver medal at the World Championships is a great success.
As he has done several times, this time too, the red and black wrestler honors Albania in the international arena. Meanwhile, as for the other names, Abakarov and Dudaev were eliminated on Saturday.
