There are many footballers of Albanian origin who represent other national teams and not the Albanian one. If until a few years ago they were justified by the lack of an invitation from the AFL or various conspiracy theories, in recent years it is totally different.
Everything documented, even publications, emails and invitations from the Federation to the Albanian players, we were rejected again. Mention here Luis Hasen, who has been regularly invited by Bush's Reds and Blacks, but the rejection has been constant.
There are also some of the more serious cases, such as wearing the red and black jersey and a day later 'throwing it in the bin' to represent nothing less, but... the Greeks. This is the sensational case of Andreas Ntoi, who played a match with Albania U-21 and then started dreaming of the Greek national team after promises from the 'Hellenic' federation.
Two years from that event and Andreas Ntoi still hasn't received an invitation from his dream national team, maybe he hasn't learned from other brothers like Florian Durmishaj, Sotir Nini and many others of this type.
If anyone needs an example, Angelo Sina shows you one. The goalkeeper of Albanian origin, born in Greece and playing for Olympiacos, chose his blood, his nation, the color of his family. Sina shone with the giant Greek team, winning the U19 Champions League, while in the final against Milan, he was without a doubt the best player on the field.
He got everyone, especially the Greeks who rubbed their hands to 'pave' the way with the promises that made Ntoi dream. But, Sina does not wait for promises to dream, as his biggest dream is to replace Etrit Berisha in the quadrangle of the Albanian goal.
And he doesn't attempt this dream with threats like "O National A or I won't come at all". Angelo Sina is Alban Bush's newest addition to Albania U-21. It starts where players like Thomas Strakosha, Armando Broja, Ernest Muçi, Rey Manaj, Simon Simoni, who today are on their way to "EURO 2024", started.
The 20-year-old has not yet played 1 minute with the red and blacks, but he has already made a huge contribution. A message and a clear example that the Albanian national team is not a football club where market offers are made and you then choose the best. The national team calls the blood, calls the Albanians, calls the nation. For those who do not consider themselves Albanian, we wish them success in "EURO 2024" with their National Teams, which they will follow on television.
