During the checks and investigations, cocaine, 2,200 ecstasy (MDMA) tablets and 11 mobile phones were seized.
The Tirana Court issued 11 security measures for administrators and employees of nightclubs in Tirana that operate mainly in the former Blloku area, accused of distributing narcotics within the premises.
9 people have been arrested, 2 of them previously while 2 others are still wanted. The arrested people are: Enis Haxhiaj, Akil Ndreu, Klevis Maqellari, Raul Loka, Endrijus Shaliu, Ergi Hasani, Migert Balla, Arli Gjokmeli and Fradjo Keli.
Orges (Dritan) Jahelezi was arrested in flagrante delicto after violating the security measure "house arrest". He was previously convicted by the Criminal Court of Kosovo for drug trafficking.
Akil Ndreu turns out to be the administrator of the 'N'Dashni' bar located on "Pjetër Bogdani" street, while Fradjo Keli turns out to be the owner of a bar-cafe on "Mine Peza" street.
During the operation, police found and seized approximately 100 grams of cocaine, 2,200 ecstasy (MDMA) tablets and 11 mobile phones.

"After several months of investigations using proactive methods, the police operation codenamed "Night Clubs" is finalized by the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office.
During the investigation period, 11 citizens, employees or administrators of nightclubs in the Ish-Blloku area were identified, who are suspected of distributing narcotics inside the premises where they operated.
Out of 11 security measures ordered by the Court, 9 security measures "Arrest in prison" were executed.
"Work continues to arrest 2 other citizens. Meanwhile, 2 other citizens were previously arrested during the investigation period," the police announced.
