The names of the directors of the Municipality of Durrës, who submitted their resignations today, have been revealed.
This 'obligation' to resign came after Prime Minister Edi Rama's visit to the municipality of Durrës, who, like in other municipalities in the country, Vlora and Fier, demanded that the directors leave their positions.
All directors have submitted their resignation letters to Mayor Emiriana Sako. It is learned that a commission has been set up within this municipality, consisting of the mayor and several deputies from the Durrës district, who will "sift" all directors in order to decide who among them will continue in office and who will not.
After this phase, the restructuring process for regional directors and other institutions subordinate to local government is expected to begin.
List of directors of the Municipality of Durrës who have resigned:
Roni Shqiopa: Directorate of Local Taxes and Fees
Meme Xhaferaj: Social Service Directorate
Ardian Gurra: Directorate of Education, Culture, Sports, Youth and Religious Communities
Oneda Deliallisi: Internal Audit Directorate
Ermal Lufo: Economic Directorate
Ardian Iljazaj: Services Directorate
Valbona Qiriako: Budget Directorate
Lorenc Facja: Directorate of Public Projects and Infrastructure
Lorenc Smajli: Directorate of Tourism
Dhurata Gjoka: Human Resources Department
Robert Dervishi: Directorate of Planning and Control of Territorial Development
Alneida Rroshi: Legal Department.
We recall that over the past few days, Prime Minister Edi Rama has embarked on a "tour" of all the municipalities in the country.
Initially, he stopped at Vlora and then continued with Fier and Durrës. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for energy and new sources in the administration, as the only way to approach the challenges of the time.
The wave of dismissals initially included Vlora, where 21 heads of institutions subordinate to the municipality resigned, following harsh criticism of the prime minister related to the cleaning of the city, the occupation of public spaces, and services to citizens who were entrusted with the Socialists' fourth mandate.
