At least 30 passengers out of 50 travelling on a bus were injured, two of them seriously, after the vehicle collided with a lorry trailer. The accident occurred on the A8 motorway near Irschenberg, towards Munich.
The truck, driven by a 46-year-old Pole, was traveling towards Munich when the bus driver, a 49-year-old man from Slovenia, hit it from behind.
The bus, which was carrying passengers from Kosovo, collided with the rear of the trailer despite evasive maneuvers.
According to police, 30 people were injured in the accident. Two passengers were hospitalized and four others were transferred to clinics for further evaluation. To coordinate medical care, emergency personnel set up a first aid point at the Irschenberg fire station.
