Sotiraq Naçi has recounted his business history in 1995 and the ordeal of vicissitudes that he went through as a businessman of that time until the destruction that brought the state financially to the shock and terror that caused his family.
According to him, Berisha's state at that time robbed the land near the American embassy with the intention that the SHIK of that time would take it to spy on the Americans.
" I bought 270 square meters of land near the American embassy. It was state land that I bought, I paid the money, the project was done and the works started. After the works started, I was in Italy and when I returned to Albania after a week, my brother told me that they took the building. I go there and see that others were working in my facility and I tell them what are you doing in my facility, one of them comes out and says "get out of here or we will concrete here, you have no business with us, you have business with the municipality, it was given to us by the municipality". In short, there was a robbery of my building by the municipality that at that time was led by Sali Kelmendi under the slogan of PD and Berisha.
The municipality had made a decision to give the land to a construction company from Vlora. I met the manager of the construction company and he told me that he had received the project for the construction of apartments for SHIK employees. Apartments for SHIK were being built on my land. While Tritan Shehu would take the first floor to turn it into a clinic and that's how it was initially done. The place was very sure that it was near the embassy, I had designed my family's apartment there, but it didn't happen, the state took it from me.
The state did this to me. SHIK took my plot near the American embassy. Why did SHIK need the apartments near the embassy, to spy on the Americans? I later learned that this was true, that this was the reason. My battle continued after I sued the municipality and won the case. But that didn't matter anymore since they had taken my land, it was occupied ," said Sotiraq Naçi.
