Famous rapper Pitbull has made history by officially entering the Guinness Book of World Records, after an unusual challenge that gathered thousands of fans in London.
During his concert at BST Hyde Park, 22,141 fans showed up wearing hats that mimicked the artist's bald head, setting a record for the largest gathering of people wearing "bald caps."
The record was confirmed on Sunday by Guinness World Records judge Will Munford.
The initiative had been announced for months by Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Pérez, who had intended to turn a tradition started by his fans during concerts into a world record.
For several tours, the rapper's fans have been dressing up like him, with bald heads, sunglasses and elegant suits. This phenomenon has become known as the "Bald E" movement.
But that wasn't the only achievement of the evening. Pitbull's concert in Hyde Park attracted 69,999 spectators, becoming the largest-attended performance in the history of the BST Hyde Park festival.
The show started with the hit "Don't Stop the Party", while the rapper also performed well-known songs such as "Hotel Room Service", "International Love", "I Feel Good", "Time of Our Lives" and "Give Me Everything".
He was joined on stage by artists Lil Jon and Kesha, with whom he brought some of his most popular collaborations, including the hit "Timber".
At the end of the concert, Pitbull surprised the British audience by performing "Wonderwall" by the band Oasis, as a tribute to his local fans, while the evening ended with fireworks over Hyde Park.
His "I'm Back Tour" has sold over 2 million tickets in 27 countries around the world, becoming the most successful solo tour of the rapper's career.
