Analyst Skënder Mixhozi, analyzing the year we are leaving behind, declared that the hero of the year in Albania is the leader of SPAK Altin Dumani.
In an interview for the show "Real Story" on "AbcNews", Minxhozi emphasized that Duman prevails in all polls.
" Based on all the polls, Altin Dumani would be the figure of the year. Even as a journalist, if we see it, in function of the amount of news that the institution has produced in terms of size and personnel, I say that Dumani is not only the hero but also the character because he has managed to gather such a large amount of public attention, but also of expectations, hopes, and hate. Everything, every feeling that makes him a hero and the person of the year for me ," added Minxhozi.
Analyst Mentor Nazarko pointed out that Dumani, leading SPAK, has made a revolution in Albanian public life after attacking the concept of impunity. Nazarko also added that Dumani has managed to cooperate in an excellent way with the Westerners.
"In Albania, I think it is Duman as the leader of a completely new institution in the way of functioning in our legal and constitutional court. SPAK, led by Duman, has revolutionized our public life. First, apart from the concept of untouchability, which has been hit and miss a lot. Major figures have been subjected to public trial. They went to the prosecutor, to the police, they were in long investigative processes, in house arrests or violent arrests like Meta. They have hit the way politics works at the local or central level, important figures in the fiefdoms of politics have been hit. SPAK has hit the relations between politics and crime, crime and business, and for a society calcified due to the long stay in power of one party, the effects and actions of SPAK have been very planar. It has modified the political discourse, public procurement" , added Nazarko.
