Prime Minister Edi Rama, unlike his stance against the presence of KFOR in the north of Kosovo in June, yesterday during the press conference, insisted on taking control of the north by the military troops of the North Atlantic Alliance.
Analyst Neritan Sejamini said that from October, Turkey will take over the management of KFOR, according to an agreement with the USA to make the compromise of voting in favor of the admission of Sweden and Finland into the alliance. Therefore, Sejamini said that someone is using Rama to throw out the thesis he said today, or they are testing this thesis in the public opinion, leaving it to Rama to propose it.
"In October, Turkey takes over the management of KFOR in Kosovo. One of the agreements that Turkey made with the USA to allow the admission of Finland and Sweden, was the increase of the Turkish presence and the taking over of KFOR command from Turkey. This country has more troops than the Americans and there is an agreement to increase the number of Turks to 1000.
I don't know what this means. Why does Turkey love it?
I do not know the motivation of Mr. Rama regarding Kosovo, what he knows and what plan he has, but listening to Edi Rama about what he has done so far, I think that Rama's thesis about KFOR entering the north of Kosovo is not his, but someone is using it to introduce this thesis.
Rama today attacked the EU unnecessarily and I am afraid, seeing DASH's statements, that the Americans now, since they have failed in the diplomatic plan, are throwing a new thesis, or testing it through Rama. Rama's speech was read and there are important keywords, that Rama is throwing out a thesis that others have about a certain plan, since diplomatic efforts have failed. Is it the Americans who want to test this idea and are pushing Rama? I don't know, but I think it's the Americans.
The big risk in this matter is this: will the north secede from Kosovo? This is the danger. Does the arrival of KFOR strengthen this?
Rama's interest in these moments is to be useful to the Americans and I am afraid that his proposal, which we take as his adventure, may be that Turkey has KFOR, insert that it is not France, it is not Germany, he has a good relationship with Rama, with Vučić, and I'm afraid it could be this scheme" - said Sejamini in the show "The Unexposed".
