The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime has decided to leave in force the security measure of "prison arrest" for the head of the Tirana Traffic Police Commissariat, Roven Zeka.
Meanwhile, the black squads have softened the measure against the head of accident investigation, Sokol Novaku. He was placed under "house arrest" due to extenuating family circumstances. The decision was made by judge Engert Pëllumbi.
Both officials are under investigation for issues related to breach of duty and abuse of powers within the framework of their functional duties in the traffic police structures.
