Criminalistics expert, Ervin Karamuço, stated today in a show that one of the most dangerous assassination attempts against politicians was in 1997, when an attempt was made to assassinate Berisha.
But this statement was contradicted by journalist Fedinand Dervishi, who said that 'the story has been blown up'.
Meanwhile, Karamuço added that this incident has not been solved and that there is a reason for this.
Excerpts from the debate on "Top Story":
Karamuço: The biggest risk of being killed was Sali Berisha, he had it in March 1997. A group dressed in uniforms attacked the Presidency, one of them died. I don't know why the case was not solved.
Dervishi: I know who the person who was killed is, it's a hoax.
Karamuço: I give the version I know, spoken and read. I also have it from close associates who went there an hour after the event.
Dervishi: Do you think Sali Berisha wouldn't have said this by now?
Karamuço: It's blown up, it's not blown up, it's something else. This incident hasn't been solved and there's a reason.
