The Special Appeal leaves Fran Tuci in prison, he allowed the opening of the road without a permit that damaged the forest

The Court of Special Appeal has upheld the prison sentence for the former mayor of Fushë-Arrëz, Fran Tuci.

He is accused of "abuse of duty" after allowing the opening of a road in a forest area. 

It is about a new road, which the former mayor had allowed to be built even though it did not have a permit and was damaging the forest.

Tuci was arrested on July 13 of this year.

After SPAK's investigation, it turned out that the former mayor caused a damage of 23.4 million ALL to the state.

Along with him, the former administrator of the Iballe unit, Ndoc Mark, as well as Durim Markgjekaj, administrator of the "Legendary" company, who is still wanted after being accused of "illegal construction", were also charged.
