The lawyer Jordan Daci said that Argita could be the right person to lead the PD, if she were not the daughter of the former prime minister Sali Berisha.
Daci made the comments on the show "Now with Erla Mëhillin" on Euronews Albania, where she said that since she is the daughter of former Prime Minister Berisha, her election as head of the Democratic Party can be prejudiced.
He added that the fact that the Berisha family has been declared "non grata" by the USA and Britain penalizes Argita if he were to take over the leadership of the DP.
" If she wasn't Berisha's daughter, she would be a perfect person, she has a formation many times greater than a large part, but since she is Berisha's daughter, obviously every person here, even without the right, rightly, he has the right to prejudice the inclusion by associating it with a lack of democracy within the party, etc.
But the statement that Berisha made was that I am not vacating his seat because it is me. However, even her speech in the Assembly could not be a coincidence, I believe there were some messages inside. The issue of non grata is an obstacle for everyone, since the two main partners of Albania, the USA and Britain, have considered them non grata ", said Daci.
