The lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu spoke about SPAK's investigations against Ilir Meta and also stopped at the arrest of Durim Bami in Dubai, which according to him are related to each other.
In an interview for "Report TV", Spahiu brought to attention that Bami wanted to have the status of repentant justice in 2016, but no one, not even justice, took it seriously.
" Durim Bami is not an unknown character, he tried to be a repentant justice in 2016 by testifying about his connection with politics, no one took him seriously and neither did the media take him to his defense. We have the obligation to remind Albanians of the attempt in 2016 to give a person the status of repentant. If it had been defended, many crimes would have been solved. Now we may be faced with two options: Durim Bami will not be extradited or denied asylum, since the Albanian state did not take him seriously when he wanted to be pendito. Second, it could be the option to accept cooperation with justice, but I have a hard time believing it. Some characters of this area, very difficult for Bami to testify after so many stories since other groups have done the opposite. The only way that Bami is free is to risk, so he is more protected, he is protected by justice.
I am not a tape to repeat Bam's testimony. There was an accusation by former MP Doshi for attempted murder and a tape given to Tahir. It is good that justice and the media refresh these testimonies.
