Semiha Xhani, a resident of Paskuqani in Kamëz, complained on the Fiks Fare show that she is not receiving economic assistance and why she lives with a minor son and is unemployed.
Mrs. Xhani says that she went to the economic aid worker several times and was told "you don't get the points". The lady says that they introduced her several times to the 6 percent (assistance provided by the municipality), but it is not continuous.
"I live in this house that was destroyed and declared uninhabitable since the November 2019 earthquake, but it was not rebuilt because I was not the owner, as I am in conflict with my ex-husband, while now I do not even receive economic assistance ," says Ms. Xhani .
In the documents that the Fiks Fare show provided, it was shown that Ms. Xhani was also announced as the winner of the reconstruction fund, but then she did not receive it because she did not have a property document. Meanwhile, when the journalists go to the Paskuqan Administrative Unit, they discover that the application form for assistance states that the lady is the owner of that apartment.
The employee justifies this fact with the fact that she could not verify, that the documents for reconstruction did not go to her offices.
Meanwhile, the lawyer of the Paskuqan Administrative Unit, Mevlut Shehu, says that the lady did not receive the points and does not know why she did not receive them, according to him, the data entered into the system by the employee were made after she verified.
When journalists ask her how they verified that she is the owner, she tries to avoid the answer, and says that this was not the reason for the exclusion.
"I don't know why it is written owner", says Shehu.
So when it comes to extracting money, the municipality finds an excuse, sometimes making it the owner and sometimes not.
