"Berisha did not allow the execution of arrest warrants", former

Former Minister of Order Bajram Yzeiraj stated that the evidence of January 21 was destroyed on the day of the event. He said that the evidence of the former Guard commander's pistol was destroyed and the Prime Minister did not allow the arrest warrants of the Prosecutor's Office to be executed.

"For example, regarding the method of collecting the shell casings, I have been told by Judicial Police officers that they collected a portion of what they collected, the rest was deleted. Public opinion knows that the evidence of the pistol of the former Guard commander was destroyed. Public opinion knows that the Prime Minister did not allow the arrest warrants of the Prosecutor's Office to be executed. What more is needed? That is enough. What about the server that was destroyed and taken out of use...", said Yzeiraj.

He added that the court's reasoning is worrying, as the charge was "intentional murder in qualifying circumstances of multiple persons" while the latter classified it as "negligent homicide".

"There are always flaws in investigations, but the assessment, the reasoning, the charge was intentional murder in qualifying circumstances of many people and to change the qualification to manslaughter... So I want the reasoning because I may not know. I can distinguish the acts of murder well from each other," he said to "A2 CNN".
