Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha refused to testify at SPAK on Friday for the first time about "January 21".
Lawyer Brizida Gjikondi, in an interview with "News Line", said that Berisha has been "dehumanized" as a political figure in relation to Albanian justice.
She further added that this is an issue that cannot be postponed, and that according to her, a moment will come when Berisha will face himself, the law and the truth.
"It is shameful for that party and its approach. On the one hand, it pretends to respect SPAK and sends denunciations, but when Berisha's summons went to Parliament, the DP parliamentary group did not even respond to emails. So this is very shameful and speaks volumes about the morality of certain people. Mr. Berisha should not do such "pirouettes", but this matter cannot be postponed, because a moment will come when he will have to face himself, the law and the truth", said Gjikondi.
Also, Lawyer Brizida Gjikondi, while analyzing several statements by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who admitted that he still "does not have a political son to replace him," said that she does not rule out the possibility of having a political daughter.
"Maybe he could have a political daughter. We know that Rama manages to use these things. Maybe he doesn't have a political son, but he could have a political daughter. So I don't rule this out," said Gjikondi.
He further said that Prime Minister Rama should stop making indirect comments about justice.
"Or to make comments and speak openly without burdens. But the message for Veliaj, as I understand it, is that he is no longer a fellow traveler… Rama is not one of those who retreats easily. Even Berisha and Rama do not give up… Even in relation to that part of justice and the relationship with SPAK, he showed that his agenda cannot be "infected" with what is happening around," she said.
