In 24 hours, 10 fires were extinguished, for which 100 members of the Armed Forces, 4 vehicles and the Cougar helicopter were engaged. This is the last balance that the Ministry of Defense makes regarding the situation of fires in Albania.
It is known that the fire on Mount Shpirag is going towards the final extinction, where 100 troops and the Cougar helicopter of the Armed Forces have been engaged for the maximum of two days for the complete neutralization of the flames.
The hearth is also under control, in the village of Rrilë, Shënkoll administrative unit in Lezhë municipality, in the urban waste dump. The fire has been extinguished and the situation is being monitored as debris may continue to burn internally without appearing on the surface.
In the meantime, the fire has been reactivated in the place called "Vija mbi Okol", in the village of Theth, in the municipality of Shkodër, where the Civil Emergency structures in the district have been notified.
