The State Police has blocked 5 craft boats in Lake Koman and fined the drivers.
This, the Police say, was done to increase the life safety parameters of tourists and visitors who frequent Lake Koman.
"5 craft boats are blocked and each of their leaders is punished with an administrative measure of 10,000 new lek.
A ferry is also blocked, and its owner is prosecuted.
The Police Services, in implementation of the plan of measures drawn up for the purpose of controlling the boats, tourist and entertainment, in Lake Koman, for the way of use and for their equipment with complete documentation, starting from the information provided that in there were unsafe boats in the lake, they organized and developed the police operation for the safety of tourists and visitors to the lake, coded "Komani".
As a result, 5 craft-built boats were blocked and their drivers were punished, with an administrative measure, of 10,000 new lek each.
Also, a ferry boat owned by citizen Gj was blocked. G., as during the verifications carried out by the specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of DVP Shkodër, at the quay of Lake Koman, it was established that this ferry was unregistered with the tax authorities, had unregistered employees, and was missing his driving license.
Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of DVP Shkodër referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, for the citizen Gj. G., 53 years old, resident of Shtoj i Ri, Shkodër, for the criminal offenses "Concealment of income", "Non-payment of taxes" and "Illegal employment".
"Komani" operation, for the control of navigational, touristic and entertainment vehicles, for the safety of tourists and visitors in the Komani lake, continues.
The Shkodër Local Police Directorate appeals to all tourist operators, owners and users of navigational, touristic and entertainment vehicles, to be equipped with the complete tax documentation for the exercise of this commercial activity, as well as to be equipped with proof of ability (guidance permit ), in order to increase the life safety parameters of vacationers and visitors," the Police announced.
