Lawyer Spartak Ngjela has commented on the protest called the next day by the opposition in front of the Assembly, while the budget for 2025 will be discussed.
In an interview for "Report TV", Ngjela says that the protest is an old notion and that the opposition does not have an electoral program.
" It is an old notion, it has nothing to do with modern politics. Modern politics is not a protest, it is a program. What do I need to protest against the party that is in power? People want to know that what they have received so much today, how much they will receive when you come to power. We don't have a program. What is the economic or political-social or democratic program, have you heard anything from the prime minister, or this old one that comes out the window. Why do you love them? Why do they benefit, because the Albanian public opinion does not have the right experience to choose" , said Ngjela.
Ngjela says that the Socialist Party is certain of victory in the next parliamentary elections and this, according to him, is also due to the crisis in the DP. Meanwhile, he points out that the DP has a non grata chairman.
" They don't have votes, without Saliu leaving they don't have votes. It is non grata in America, why does it hurt the right, go home. The right is to blame, the only thing we can expect is if he is punished, what will happen. He was sentenced and the decision became final, the Constitution does not allow you to engage in politics. I cannot interpret or predict the court's decision.
It is easy to believe that the right is in crisis. How can a right-wing party emerge in a democratic country with Western aspirations when its president is non grata in America. Let's see if the history of politics in Albania will continue, but in this state, which is the right, the socialists are sure of it ", continued Ngjela.
He also comments on the work of SPAK.
"You have seen the program and the definition of what SPAK is. It has nothing to do with the old judicial power. It was raised for corruption and organized crime. The USA did it. We have made him SPAK and we hope that he will fight corruption and organized crime ", he concluded.
