"Rama's statements, to avoid attention from scandals",

Prime Minister Edi Rama declared today in Vlora that justice will be done for the murders of January 21, 2011, mentioning the decision of the Strasbourg Court on the lawsuit of the relatives of Aleks Nika that the state was responsible.

Journalist Eni Ferhati said that Prime Minister Rama is again using this issue for political consumption, because SPAK has responded that this issue cannot be reopened.

He further said that Rama is using this issue to avoid attention from scandals and other important events.

"The issue of January 21 is not the first time it is used in the political discourse, even by the Prime Minister. It got a kick this year, as it gets kick every year when the date is, from a decision of the Strasbourg Court, which was expressed for the complaint of the family members of the deceased Alex Nika, which is an unsolved murder out of the 4 murders committed. The court's decision was expected, stating that the state was responsible and that investigations should continue. It was also talked about the attempt of the Prime Minister of that time to hide the evidence and the story of the disappearance of the security cameras is known.

But I see the prime minister's discourse as political consumption. Alex Nika's family members turned to SPAK and then to the Minister of Justice Manja who supported him to reopen this case, after the publication of the audio published by the journalist Artan Hoxha about the chain orders of the Guard of the Republic for January 21 and they received an answer that this the case cannot be opened and it was re-sent to the prosecutor's office in Tirana.

Today's head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, was then the prosecutor of Appeal and demanded that Adrea Prendi and Agim Llupo not be accused of negligent homicide, but of intentional homicide and sentences of over 20 years in prison for them.

Under these conditions, when SPAK says that we cannot investigate and that 12 years after the event there is no new evidence, it seems to me only for a discourse for political consumption to avoid attention to scandals and other events. So SPAK has given the answer that it cannot re-investigate it",  said journalist Ferhati for the show "The Unexposed".
