The High Inspectorate for Declaration and Control of Assets and Conflict of Interest (HIDAKPKI) has blocked the plan of the rector of the University of Medicine Xheladin Draçini, known as Tano Karidi of Medicine, to hit the former dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Edit Xhajanka, using Silvana Bare, dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine. Draçini wants to dismiss Edit Xhajanka, using Silvana Bare, after Edit Xhajanka seems to have signaled law enforcement institutions about the corrupt affairs of Draçini, Silvana Bare and their circle.
The Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Silvana Bara, has submitted to the Rectorate an official request for the dismissal of the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Edit Xhajanka, former head of this faculty, currently responsible for the Department of Dental Orthopedics. Meanwhile, the HIDACPKI has officially requested Rector Draçini to suspend the disciplinary process against Edit Xhajanka, as the latter is subject to the law on the protection of whistleblowers, which means that Ms. Xhajanka has signaled corrupt affairs within the Faculty of Dental Medicine.
The HIDAKKI requests that the disciplinary process against Edit Xhajanka be suspended until her claims that Silvana Bara's request to dismiss her is revenge because Xhajanka has signaled Bara's corrupt affairs are verified. Following this letter, the rector of the University of Medicine Xheladin Draçini, known as Tano Karidi of Medicine, has asked the chairman of the disciplinary commission Arvin Dibra to suspend the administrative investigation against Edit Xhajanka.

In coordination with Xhelo, Silvana Bara, with a letter dated June 4, 2026, addressed the Rectorate, that is, Xhelo, for the dismissal of Edit Xhajanka from duty, on the accusation of 'conspiracy' against Xhelo.
Silvana Bara is the daughter of Petrit Bara, former candidate for deputy of Ilir Meta's LSI, currently the rector of Irfan Hysenbelliu's "Luarasit" University, who has occupied the public property of the former Foreign Languages dormitory, turning it into a private business. Petrit Bara, former dean of the Faculty of Nursing, is listed as a connection between two symbols of corruption in justice and politics, namely the former chief prosecutor of Tirana Petrit Fusha, accused of concealing assets and suspected of money laundering, and Ilir Meta, in prison for corruption and money laundering.
