
The Albanian police has officially reacted to the violence against 3 young Albanians in Montenegro. According to her, the three Albanian citizens presented themselves to the local Police, in Herceg Novi, where they were initially treated by the forensic doctor, who found injuries caused by physical blows.
On the part of the Montenegrin Police, the Albanian citizens were asked to file a report about the incident, but initially they refused to file a report.
Police reaction
In relation to the event that took place in Montenegro, where three Albanian citizens were raped by some unknown citizens, we clarify that:
As soon as they became aware of this event, the General Director of the State Police, the Director of the Department for Borders and Migration and the Director of the Department for
International Relations, in the State Police, have immediately communicated with their counterparts in Montenegro, to familiarize themselves with the circumstances of this event and to offer assistance to Albanian citizens.
Also, in relation to this event, the Minister of the Interior Taulant Balla has communicated with ministers of the government of Montenegro, to take measures so that the perpetrators of this event are caught and brought to justice.
The event happened around 14:00, in the place called "Zelenika", near the city of Herceg Novi. Albanian citizens KM, AD and DK were driving a vehicle with German license plates and were suddenly attacked without any reason by a group of 6 or 7 people, who first hit the vehicle and then physically attacked the Albanian citizens, caused physical damage to different parts of the body.

After the interest of the Minister of the Interior and the leaders of the State Police, the three citizens agreed to report only in the presence of the lawyer.
The Embassy of Albania in Montenegro has made lawyers available to Albanian citizens.
The Montenegrin counterparts have assured the leaders of the State Police that the three Albanian citizens have been offered the necessary help and assistance and that the Police is conducting intensive investigations to clarify this event, for which, until now, several citizens have been accompanied.
The three Albanian citizens, after making a report, will be provided with photographs of the suspected perpetrators, in order to identify them and document the circumstances of the event.
The State Police is in constant contact with their Montenegrin counterparts, for the actions being carried out to clarify this incident.
