A serious incident was discovered today in the city of Pogradec, where the Police arrested a 29-year-old man, under the suspicion that the latter had intimate relations with a 12-year-old girl.
Sociologist Edmond Dragoti, in relation to this incident, said that the girl's mother is also responsible, who reported the incident only after she was separated from the young man's father, with whom she lived.
Dragoti said that such cases should be reported from the beginning, because otherwise they can be repeated and become continuous.
He said that only a small percentage of these cases are reported, since according to him, most are closed to the circle of the participating persons.
"They abused the mother, the son, the roommate, the son's father and so on. Society must take a stand in these cases and the Police must be more clear and confident in their actions. Because events of this nature are often closed inwardly.
The fact that the mother reported only when she broke up with his father, shows that she did not want to report either. Because children are prejudiced and their future in social relations is destroyed.
Awareness must be at this point because such cases must be denounced from the beginning, as they can become continuous" , said Dragoti in "Euronews".
