In the next protest that took place this evening on "Mustafa Matohiti" street, in support of former prime minister Sali Berisha, his daughter Argita Malltezi spoke about her father's condition.
Asked by "A2CNN" if she had any communication with her father, she said: " Yes! We live together ."
As for Berisha's condition, her daughter responded by saying that the head of Reestablishment is "at full speed with work and in full control of the situation".
Regarding the first meeting of the DP Presidency with Berisha under house arrest, Malltezi emphasized that he remains inside every movement.
" Absolutely, Berisha is at the head of the DP and organizational issues have their own modalities. It is not to be discussed in a wider context than that. Berisha is totally inside the event and herself ," she said.
Asked if, in her judgement, as a lawyer, Berisha's communication with supporters from the balcony of the apartment is a violation of the security measure, she stated that no measure was violated.
" Legally, it is completely permissible, because the Constitution provides in Article 17 that basic constitutional rights such as freedom of speech can only be limited by law, not by court decision. Edi Rama did the calculations wrong ", she said.
