The Foreign Minister of Montenegro, Marash Dukaj, spoke about the violence against Albanians yesterday.
He emphasized that he heard the news from the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, adding that immediately after the news, action was taken.
He informed that so far 5 of the 8 violators of Albanians have been arrested, while two more are being sought.
"I express my deep indignation about the case and take the opportunity to apologize to you and to the people of their families for what happened in the hope that it will not happen again. I was in Tuz with some of my friends, and Balla called me and informed me about the case. In those moments, I communicated with the Minister of the Interior, who was not informed about the case. I am satisfied with the work of the interior minister, who was fully committed to the case. 5 of the 8 persons responsible for the case have been arrested.
2 others have been identified and are being sought. I also want to say that in my communications with the prosecutor's office, the prosecutor described the case as a criminal offense and all measures are being taken so that the persons are held accountable and punished in accordance with the law" , he said to "Euronews".
