The Embassy of Albania in Montenegro has reacted to the barbaric violence perpetrated against three Albanians near the Montenegrin city of Herceg Novi.
Through an announcement on the "Facebook" social network, the embassy has informed that it has taken Albanian citizens under its protection since the first moment it was notified about the case. It is further said that with the help of the embassy, the three Albanians have filed a complaint with the relevant authorities. In its announcement, the embassy emphasizes that after the denunciation they are waiting for clarification of the incident.
" The Embassy of Albania in Montenegro is closely following the event of this afternoon, where three Albanian citizens were raped in the area of Zelenika, near the city of Herceg Novi.
Since the first moment when we were notified, we have been in contact with the citizens, we have taken them under protection and we are offering them every necessary service, including the legal one.
A representative of the embassy traveled to the area, while we asked the police and law enforcement authorities to clarify the incident and punish the perpetrators. The Albanian citizens assisted by the embassy have filed a complaint with the Montenegrin police authorities ", announces the Embassy of Albania in Montenegro.
