The former Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani, reacted to the new accusations brought against Arben Ahmetaj for the privatization of the former bread factory.
Manjani says that Veliaj should also be under investigation by SPAK, since he gave permission for construction on that plot of land.
" It's useless, for talking, that is, well, Arben Ahmetaj did not abuse his duty in the case of "Buka" in Tirana, but Erion Veliaj, who gave a construction permit to that land, when the court had removed the ownership of the land, is the applicant to blame?!
I mean it is not known how he abused his duty by protecting the public interest, but let us say that SPAK judges this. But granting a construction permit on a plot of land, whose owner had lost the title 1 year before granting the permit, is a clear violation of the law and public interest.
Erion should have been under investigation for this permit.
