Analyst Andi Bushati has commented on the process being carried out against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha from SPAK for the "Partizani" file.
Bushati said that more is being done to punish a man, using the "political enemy" tactic, than justice is being done.
According to him, Berisha's process is very similar to the process against Fatos Nano.
"Undoubtedly, it is one of the most difficult issues of Albanian justice. The problem is not how difficult the issue is, but how convincing justice is in the investigation of Berisha. Here we are observing day after day that more is being done to punish this man , than to do justice to this man. Berisha is not being treated as a person to whom justice should be done, even by punishing him, but a tactic of the political enemy is being used to punish him.
Berisha's trial is very similar to the trial of Fatos Nano, convicted by Berisha, using several judges and prosecutors from the poplars.
My belief is that we are in the same situation. Berisha is being punished by prosecutors and judges who are acting as political kamikaze.
The future of DP will be similar to the future of every person who is a critic or opponent of Rama. We are moving from hybrid democracy to autocracy. We are at the end of an era. We are at the end of the final murder of democracy and the opening of an authoritarian period", he said.
