The 14-year-old who became the mother of a child with her 21-year-old partner, who was arrested by the police, has asked the authorities to release her.
In a statement to the media, the minor said that she has known the child's father for 1 year, as she emphasized that her parents have agreed on their relationship.
According to her, as long as they have a child together with the desire of both, they do not have to arrest him, since their economic situation is also difficult and the 21-year-old must work to raise the child.
"I have known my husband for a year. We know each other in Elbasan. I told my parents yesterday. They agreed.
I have a child why should they arrest him. He didn't take me hard. I want my husband to be released, who will feed me and my child?! I want you to release me today. I have no way to live, I only have that, I had a side job.
The one who brought me home to eat was working. He worked two jobs both day and night to bring me bread home. I want to be released. My mom and dad came to me from Milot, I haven't given any statement to the police, but since yesterday I have been informed about my husband in the police" , said the minor.
The arrest of the 21-year-old came after the 14-year-old gave birth to her baby in the Korca maternity hospital yesterday. After the statements, the 21-year-old admitted that he is the father of the child.
