"We need a boycott of the Parliament and the elections, the opposition

In the show "Te Paespozuarit" on MCN TV, there was a debate between analysts Andi Bushati and Neritan Sejamini regarding the actions that should be taken by the opposition, which seems to find it impossible to come to power under the current conditions.

Andi Bushati thinks that the opposition should boycott the Parliament and the elections, since in a regime everything is predetermined. While Neritan Sejamini says that even autocratic regimes are overthrown by voting, if the opposition inspires hope and people are inspired by it.

Andi Bushati : I don't need protests. I saw Rai 3 which was shocking, but when I see that 300 people gather, I say Albanians have never seen anything like this. The protest is the fire extinguisher of the bomb thrown by the media. So does the 5D. It's terrible, but 200 people gather there. So the Albanians were not worried. In a dictatorship it is not easy to protest, but when we know this, we have to find ways. I don't know, but I was watching the parliament today. I mean, Lindita Nikolla comes to the Parliament and decides who should be the opposition deputy. Then it determines whether or not you have the right to interpellation. Commissions, you give two and not five. The question arises, why don't these sit idle in the Parliament? Aren't they figurines of the resurrection? When the Albanians don't go out to the demonstration, tell the Albanians, choose between you and Rama, I won't become Rama's sponge.
I say, there is no other way but boycott, or you will accept to be treated like that.

Neritan Sejamini : Boycott? Ok, we boycotted, what happens next?

Andi Bushati : Nothing, but this is an instrument... When I had a media owner at KLAN, who said you can publish these two shows, you can't publish these three. I leave, I do not serve to say that this is still pluralistic media. When a man cannot fulfill his mission, he runs away.

Neritan Sejamini : Agreed, run away from the parliament, the elections are coming, what happens?

Andi Bushati : They don't even participate in the elections, I know the results of the elections.

Neritan Sejamini : If we say that there is no hope for anything, we leave it at all until Edi Rama dies.

Andi Bushati : It's like going to a trial knowing that the judge has been bought by the other side.

Neritan Sejamini: The problem of the opposition is that they don't care about the people.

Andi Bushati : It's not that people don't go to these. I can say they are degraded. But here people are afraid to come out. Arlind Qori said, people grab me and say we are with you but we are afraid to go out.

Neritan Sejamini : Let me tell you one thing, I'm not alone at the rally and I'm not afraid. PD will be interested, why not me?

Andi Bushati : When you had the illusion that this is democracy, you supported the other candidate who entered the elections, but now you have withdrawn. When there was hope, you stepped in and voted because you know it's impossible, because Tom Doshi can beat Edi Rama.

Neritan Sejamini: The only possibility for Rama to be overthrown is with a vote. Otherwise, if we remove this alternative, we serve Edi Rama. What you say gets you nowhere. We call it a regime, we talk in the studio, but nobody has to do anything. Why did the ruling party lose in South Africa? Why in India the party that was in power lost, so it did not get the majority. Why did Istanbul and Ankara leave? Why in many countries where there is autocracy, people are taken and changed by vote?

Andi Bushati : Not even in India did Modi run away from power and not even in Turkey did Erdogan run away from power.

Neritan Sejamini: Modi cannot form a government by himself. Even where there is autocracy and power rules, oppositions maneuver, find opportunities to lead people, create spirit and movements that sooner or later lead to victory.
