After finishing their speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office, the protesters began their usual march through the streets of Tirana, continuing their 19th day of action against the government and the political class.
Hundreds of citizens have moved from the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard towards the Small Ring Road, along the "Bajram Curri" Boulevard, and then continued their movement towards the axis that leads to the "Paris Municipality" intersection.
During the march, there was no shortage of chants against Prime Minister Edi Rama and former Prime Minister Sali Berisha. In chorus, the protesters chanted: "Edi Rama, you idiot, look how many of us there are today", while they then continued with chants: "Edi Rama is finished, it's finished", accompanied by the slogan "Edhe Sala is finished, it's finished, it's finished".
One of the most frequently repeated calls during the march was "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison," conveying the message that protesters have been articulating for days that their opposition is not directed only at the government, but at the entire political class.
Also, during the movement on the streets of the capital, cries of "Your end has come" were heard repeatedly, while the protesters continued their march under the supervision of police forces.
The march has now become a daily ritual of the protest, which has been taking place in Tirana for 19 days. This evening, after the rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office, citizens have chosen to continue the protest on the main streets of the capital, maintaining their demand for the removal of Edi Rama and a change in the political situation in the country.
