Regarding the mechanism of the incident, initially according to the examination of security cameras, but also according to witnesses at the scene, it turns out that the vehicle used by the perpetrators, which is a stolen vehicle, came from the Milot area and approached the family business.
Prendi there, Roan Brahimi's father, Gjovalin Prendi, was drinking coffee in the presence of another person. Two masked men with Kalashnikovs came out, and only one of them shot at Gjovalin Prendi, killing him, and then the vehicle followed the same route of departure, that is, towards Milot and was found almost completely burned the day after the incident in Fushë Gjormë. Roan Brahimi was exposed for the first time by the state police in the assassination attempt that occurred at the Fushë-Krujë overpass, where Brilant Martinaj, Ervis Martinaj's first cousin, and his two friends, Besmir Hoxha and Dikler Vatha, were the victims.
At that time, one of the people suspected of participating in this assassination was Roan Brahimi and from that moment on, the police had information that the opposing group, Martinaj's group, had sworn to destroy and eliminate the entire family and if you look at 2024, two years later, Roan Brahimi was executed in a mafia assassination in Athens in front of his second wife. As for the saga of the clashes, Roan Brahimi is also suspected of other serious events, such as the assassination of Ardian Gjeloshi with one injured and one killed, so the company's economist Ardian Gjeloshi was killed, while Gjeloshi was injured. He is suspected of the assassination of Ylli Ibrahimi or Brahja, who was also a cousin of his first wife because he considered him a person who had betrayed him to Martinaj and in that event was mistakenly killed.
He was also suspected, together with his brother-in-law, of the murder of Gentian Betja in Larush, Fushë-Krujë. Meanwhile, there have been other incidents, but these are the most serious. There was also a conflict with a group from Tepelena, led by the one known as "Little Reno", Arlenato Muska, who was involved in drug trafficking, but the police are verifying this lead. Meanwhile, the family, the parent, must say that from time to time he has also received messages, if I may say so, threatening since after the assassination attempt at the Fushë-Krujë overpass, that this family was targeted and that things would certainly go to the point where everything would be wiped out.
The police have requested the identification of the vehicle chassis and have sent it abroad due to the Easter break, they have not yet received an answer as to where this car was stolen. Whether it came from abroad or was stolen in Albania, despite the allusions that have been made today regarding this aspect. The main leads that the police are investigating are: Ervis Martinaj who is directly suspected, so it was the family, if I may say so, the Martinaj criminal group. Ylli Brahja, Ardian Gjeloshi and Gentian Bejtja, these were clashes that he had open and who had been questioned or was declared wanted by the police in connection with these events.
Meanwhile, there have been checks, in addition to these families that I mentioned, there have also been checks in the homes of the Reçi tribe in Mirdita. Because according to the data, Roan Brahimi was in conflict with this group in the Mirdita area as long as the sons of the Reçi family were in an alliance with the son of Ardian Gjeloshi, whom according to the police, Roan Brahimi tried to eliminate.
