Journalist Arjon Sulo states that Prime Minister Edi Rama has been positioned against SPAK since the arrest of Mayor Erion Veliaj, to prevent any further arrests of his people.
According to him, the prime minister is obstructing and intimidating justice and gave the message about SPAK at the rally he held with the municipal administration a few days ago.
"SPAK has 10 standards for releasing files, Çyrbja did not release his file, Tan Hoxha did, there are very serious problems. Why is Rama exploiting these and where will he go? Will he block SPAK after the arrest of Erion Veliaj to tell him that this is the last one? We read the obstruction he is making to justice, he is obstructing it, he is intimidating it, he has proposed an international consultancy so that SPAK can do a good job investigating the tenders because he is 'putting us all in one bag'. Last Thursday's rally was an anti-rally, and the message was: you will not arrest anyone anymore because I have reformed the justice system, I will not allow you anymore", said Sulo on the Barometri show.
